GUGGENHEIMER, Antonie. Born in Aschaffenburg, Germany, 18th September, 1891, daughter of Max and Fanny Oestreicher. Educated in Germany. Came to South Africa in 1936. Played an active part in the Sisterhood of the B'nai B'rith Lodge, Johannesburg, of which she is a foundation member. Communal worker and member of Our Parents' Home; member of Union of Jewish Women, Married the late Hans Guggenheimer, who was Advertising Manager of the "S.A. Jewish Times", until his death in 1959.
