HAIFER, Maurice. M.B., Ch.B. Medical Practitioner. Born Johannesburg 1st July, 1926, son of Harry and Lily Haifer. Educated at Potchefstroom Boys' High School, Rhodes University and University of Cape Town. Assistant District Surgeon, Pretoria, 1951-52; part-time Assistant District Surgeon, Pretoria, 1952- 1960. Foundation member of the College of General Practitioners, N. Transvaal Branch. During the Second World War was a member of the University Air Training Corps.
