Graphological Society: President, S.A. Society of Translators and Interpreters; member, Roseneath Govt. School Committee; Ex-Chairman, Council of Reef S.P.C.A.'s; ex-Vice-Chairman S.A. Federation of S.P.C.A. Formerly active member of Zionist Revisionist organisation. Served in Police Reserve and N.V.B. during Second World War. Married Olga de Aguiar, 1953; three daughters.
