ETTLINGER, Adolf Ernest. B.Sc., LL.B. Attorney. Born Cape Town 20th August, 1903, son of Arthur and Lena Ettlinger. Educated at King Edward VII School, Johannesburg, and Witwatersrand University. Director of various companies. Was Founder of the Side Bar Association of Johannesburg; Chairman and Committee member for many years. Council member, Incorporated Law Society of the Transvaal. Previously Executive member, S.A. Jewish Board of Deputies, and Council member of Johannesburg United Progressive Congregation. Member of the Houghton Golf Club, of which he was president for four years. Member, Old Edwardian Society, Wanderers' Club and others. Captained Witwatersrand University Tennis team for four years.
