FAIMAN, Israel Osser. M.B., Ch.B., D.P.Η. D.M.R.D. Radiologist. Born Cape Town 11th September, 1912, son of Sarah Liebe Faiman and Max Faiman. Educated at S.A. College School, Cape Town, and University of Cape Town. Formerly Assistant Medical Officer of Health, Kimberley, 1946- 48. On visiting staff of the Groote Schuur Hospital and Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital. Served as Medical Officer in S.A. Medical Corps during Second World War. Married Marian Rose Schapera, 1946; four daughters. Add.: 24, Sidmouth Avenue, Oranjezicht, Cape Town.
