Managing Director, Hellas Manufacturing Co., Cape Town. President, Cape Jewish Aged Home since 1960 (formerly Treasurer and Committee Member); President, B'nai B'rith (Bar Kochba Lodge), Cape Town. Vice-President, Nomads Hockey Club, Cape Town; member, King David Country Club, Cape Town. Member, Maccabi, since 1912; appointed Life member, Bar-Kochba, Hamburg, 1934. Saw part-time service in World War II with Cape Coastal Artillery. Married Hella Spielmann 15th May, 1934; two daughters. Recreations: Bowls and charitable work.
