Jewish Board of Deputies. Former Chairman, Oxford Synagogue, and former member of Council, United Hebrew Congregation, Johannesburg. Original member of Maccabi Governing Body. Former Chairman, Finance Committee, Transvaal Provincial Institute of Architects. Member, Houghton Bowling Club. Married Thelma Harris, 1937; one son, one daughter.
