FREIDBERG, Maurice. Stock Feed Manufacturer. Born Riga, Latvia, 20th June, 1904, son of David and Paula Freidberg. Educated at Gymnasium, Riga and Dvinsk. Came to South Africa 1927. Director Proton Feeds (Pty.) Ltd. and Motor Masters (Pty) Ltd. Formerly ran the General Stores, Vredendal, C.P. Committee member of Somerset West Hebrew Congregation for five years. Vice-President, Bowls Section, Somerset West Country Club. Member, Rotary Club. Served as a member of the Palestine Police Force from 1921-26. Married Freda Arenson, 1934; one son, one daughter.
