Vice-President and Choirmaster of Bloemfontein Progressive Jewish Congregation. Member, Ramblers Tennis Club, O.F.S. Philatelic Society, Bloemfontein Choral Society. Writes philatelic articles in S.A. and overseas magazines; judge at national and international philatelic exhibitions. Married Esther Schultz, 1934; two daughters.
