CANTOR, Harold. Antique Dealer. Born Lurgan, N. Ireland, 2nd. October, 1916, son of Isaac Louis and Rose Cantor. Came to South Africa 1930. Educated in Dublin, Eire and at S.A.C.S., Cape Town. Member of the S.A. Antique Dealers' Association and the International Antique Dealers' Association. Member of Oxford Hebrew Congregation, Jewish Ex-Service League, Transvaal Automobile Club. Served with the South African forces in East Africa and Italy during World War II, 1940-1945. Married Ita Abrams, 15th June, 1947; 2 sons, one daughter. Recreation: Art collecting.
