DALESKI, Joseph. B.A. Attorney. Born Johannesburg 25th October, 1897, son of Morris and Miriam Daleski. Educated at Jewish Government School, Jeppe High School, Universities of Pretoria and Witwatersrand. Hon. Secretary, Johannesburg Zionist Association, 1928-30; Foundation member of Executive, Revisionist Party of South Africa, 1930: Executive member, S.A. Zionist Federation, 1930-57 and from 1961 onwards; Vice-Chairman, S.A. Zionist Federation, 1953-57, 1961- 66; now Hon. President. Executive member, S.A. Jewish Board of Deputies, 1945-53; Vice-Chairman, 1951- 53; Chairman, Zionist Revisionist Organisation of S.A. for 15 years from 1949 to 1964, now Vice-President. Married Dorothea Hochstadter (nee Haas), 7th May, 1959. Has one son, one daughter by previous marriage to the late Tilly Pearl Daleski (nee Morris).
