Secretary, 1950-55; Chairman, 1955-61. Member of the Jeppe Old Boys' Club, B.C.E.S.L., Warmbaths Sports Club, M.O.T.H.S., Jewish Ex-Servicemen's League. During World War II served with the 8th Army in East and North Africa; commissioned 1942; Adjutant of 209 M.T. Coy and Spaarwater Training Depot. Married Sylvia Berzen, 1951.
