Past National Secretary of the Royal Life Saving Society and of the S.A. Life Saving Society. President of Joseph Distiller Lodge, Hebrew Order of David. Captain of Wits. Boxing Team, 1946; won Heavy-weight Division of Trials for Maccabi Games, 1950; boxed for Johannesburg, 1950; swam for Currie Cup, 1946. Recreations: Swimming, squash.
