Chairman of Border Stationers' Association. Executive member, East London Progressive Jewish Congregation. Hon. Secretary, Council of Border Jewry. Past Chairman of East London Jewish Youth Club. During World War II saw active service, 1940-42, in Kenya and Abyssinia. Past Chairman of East London Branch of S.A. Jewish Ex-Service League. Past Treasurer of Round Table No. 1.
