Friends of the Hebrew University since 1959; Committee member, United Hebrew Schools, 1954-58; Committee member, Cape Town Hebrew Congregation since 1961. Chairman, Organising Committee National Congress of Chartered Accountants 1966. Member King David Country Club, Vredehoek Sports Club; Captain, S.A.C.S.
