Previously practised as Attorney. President, Bloemfontein Progressive Jewish Congregation; Committee Member, Jewish Ex-Service League since 1965; Chaplain of B'nai B'rith Lodge since 1965. President of Hilton Bowling Club 1963/64, Member of O.F.S. Bowling Executive, Ramblers Club. Served with the South African Forces in Pay Corps during World War II 1941-45.
