AMLER, Cyril Simon. B.A., LL.B. Attorney. Born Oudtshoorn 7th September, 1923, son of Joseph and Bertha Amler. Educated Muir College, Uitenhage, Worcester Boys' High School and University of Cape Town. Member of the Malmesbury Hebrew Congregation; Foundation Member, King David Country Club; Member Langebaanweg Bowling Club. Served in Second World War 1940-1942 North Africa, 2nd Division, Armoured Corps. Practised as Advocate at the Cape Bar, 1951-56. Publications: "Precedents of Pleadings" (Amler & Isaacs).
