Deputy Mayoress of East London, 1965 and 1966. Well known bowler, won S.A. Singles Championship in 1961 and has long list of major bowling achievements to her credit, both at Provincial and National level. Selected to represent S.A. in 1961 Maccabi Games in Israel. Secretary/ Treasurer of S.A. Bowling Association 1961/1964. Secretary and subsequently President of Border Women's Bowling Section.
