Maurice OSTROFSKY, (the late). Born in Odessa, Russia, in 1863. Came to South Africa in 1888. Married in 1898 to Pauline Goldstein: has five children. P.M. Goldfields Lodge, Κ.Ο.Μ. Buffaloes, Past Chief Ranger, A.O. Forresters; Foundation Member, H.O.D., Benoni, and ex-President; first President, Benoni Zionist Society, and of every Jewish Institution in Benoni.
