Life OSRIN, Isaac Woolf (son of the late H. Osrin, one of the founders of the Jeppestown Hebrew Con-gregation and Talmud Torah, who was Hon. Vice-President of both institutions), Merchant. Born in Lithuania in 1877, and educated there. Came to South Africa in 1893. Married in June, 1907, to Esther Bertha Osrin; has five children. While resident of Krugersdorp, was President of the West Rand Lemaan Zion Association for twelve consecutive years; Vice-Chairman of Krugersdorp Congregation and Talmud Torah; Committee Member, Chevra Kadisha. At present residing at Johannesburg; President of the Jeppestown and Eastern Districts Hebrew Congregation; Past President and at present Trustee of the Jeppestown and Eastern Districts Chevra Ein-Jacob and Benevolent Society; ex-Committee Member of the Jeppestown and Eastern Districts Hebrew Schools; persevering worker in all Jewish communal matters.
