Married in 1899 to Matilda Galgut; has eight children. On Committee of the Aged Home, Benevolent Society, and South African Jewish Orphanage; ex-Committee Member of the Hebrew High School and the Hebrew Orthodox Congregation; President of Vryheid Hebrew Congregation; ex-Hon.
