Secretary to the Federation of Synagogues; Foundation Member and Committee Member of the Bikur Cholim of Cape Town; Trustee to Jeppe Hebrew Congregation since 1927; Member of the Committee, Jeppestown Talmud Torah since 1918; since 1922, Committee Member of Jeppe Hebrew Congregation; Treasurer to same in 1921; Trustee since 1927; for the last three years has been Chairman; Treasurer to Jeppestown and districts Hebrew Benevolent Society.
