ROSIN, Joseph Julius, Minister of Religion, J.P. for the Colony of Southern Rhodesia. Born in Kourland, Latvia, in 1879. Educated at Yeshiva and College. Came to South Africa in 1912. Has four children. Member of Executive, Rhodesia Children's Home; Reigning Master, Lodge Israel, Salisbury; Executive Member of the Salisbury Unemployed Society, and many other institutions; President, Salisbury Zionist Society and Chevra Kadisha.
