Married Gustina Oppenheimer in 1904; has three daughters. Ex-President, Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce and Johannesburg Commercial Exchange; ex-President, Roodepoort Hebrew Congregation for several years; Member of Council, United Hebrew Congregation of Johannesburg: Member of several Jewish Institutions.
