General Leather Goods Federation since 1964; member of Management Committee, Leather Sick and Provident Funds since 1961. Committee member, S.A. Jewish Ex-Service League since 1952, Chairman 1959-1960 and Chairman, 1967. Member, of P.E. Hebrew Congregation. Member, Wedgwood Park Country Club. During World War II served with South African Forces in East Africa, Abyssinia and Middle East. Married Stella Kaplan, 27th August, 1944; one son, one daughter. Recreation: Bowls.
