PRICE, Elias Alan. M.B., Ch. B. (Rand). D.M.R.D. (R.C.P. & S.) (Eng.). Radiologist. Born Dolhinow, Poland 15th April, 1918, son of Max and Sonia Price. Came to South Africa 1935. Educated in Europe and at the University of the Witwatersrand. Radiologist to the Johannesburg General Hospital. Since childhood was associated with the Betar and Revisionist Party, and went to Israel to join the Irgun. Member of Temple Israel, served for 18 months with the Israel Army 1948-49 (Chativa Givati Gedud 52). Married Ellen Katzenstein 1951; four sons. Add.: 1, Kafue Road, Emmarentia, Johannesburg.
