Educated at King Edward VII School and University of the Witwatersrand. Consulting Geologist, specialling in diamond deposits. Consultant to Israeli Government, Treasure Trove Diamonds, Southern Fissures Ltd. and others. Previously Resident Geologist for Selected Trust Ltd. in Sierra Leone and Ghana, 1959-62. Diamond Geological Consultant to Israel State Diamond Corporation. Member, Kimberley Hebrew Congregation. Formerly Chairman, Witwatersrand University Student Zionist Association. Visited Israel under PATWA Scheme, 1955-57. Served in Israeli Geological Survey during Sinai Occupation, 1957. Member, Northern Cape Aquatic Sports Club. Married Glenda Winnie Lyons, 1961; one son.
