Previously a General Dealer in Oudtshoorn and Tobacco Manufacturer in Oudtshoorn; partner, Malmesbury Wine & Brandy Co. Hon. Secretary, Malmesbury Hebrew Congregation 1934-41; Hon. Secretary, Magen David Adom (Wynberg Branch) 1949-56; Communal worker for Israeli United Appeal and United Communal Fund. Served with National Reserve Volunteers during Second World War.
