Proprietor of the Olympic Service Station (Pty.) Limited, Malvern East. Committee member, (1946-59) and chairman (1957-59) of the Hebrew Congregation Or Chadash (now defunct). Member of the Hebrew Order of David. Served with the National Volunteer Brigade during Second World War. Married Bella Sommerich, 1931; two daughters. Recreation: Amateur cinematography.
