Graduated as Rabbi from Rabbinical Academy, New York. Came to South Africa 1951. Director, Anglo- Dutch Diamond Cutting Works (Pty.) Ltd., African Diamond Exporters (Pty.) Ltd. Chairman of the Diamond Club of South Africa 1962-1964, and now again Vice-Chairman. Founder Chairman, Yeshiva College, President since 1965. National Chairman of the United Mizrachi Organisation of South Africa, Executive member, South African Zionist Federation; member, Editorial Board, "S.A. Jewish Observer". Married Leah Amsel 9th June, 1949; one son, two daughters. Recreation: Tennis. Add.: 50, St. David's Road, Houghton, Johannesburg.
