(1956- 1963); Regional Executive Committee, S.A. Red Cross Society; President, Krugersdorp Hebrew Congregation; Member of Medical Panel of the Witwatersrand Jewish Aged Home; Former President of Rotary Club; Member, Houghton Bowling Club and K.E.S. Old Boys Club. Married 13th December, 1925; wife's name Flossie Blanche; one son, one daughter. Served as Lance-Corporal in the S.A.
